Everyone is invited to a special advance screening
of Neil McArthur and Warren Cariou's new documentary
film "Land of Oil and Water: Aboriginal Voices on Life
in the Oil Sands."
It will screen in 160 Dafoe (just outside the library's
main entrance) this Friday the 12th, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM.
The film addresses indigenous rights, environmental ethics
and corporate responsibility, as seen from the perspective
of Cree, Dene and Metis people who live in oilsands-affected areas.
Please pass along the word to anyone who might be interested.
Thanks.
