Philosophy-Club Email List

Justin has volunteered to collect new email addresses from interested students in the T/Th Logic class he T.A.'s. I can do the same in any of the seminars that I'm in this fall.

Just wondering: is there anyone who could volunteer to collect emails (by passing a sheet around) in any of the lower-level courses? Once we have them, the best thing to do is to forward them to Chelsey Booth, who is in charge of updating the database.

So far, no opinions have been voiced on the club-night issue. I assume that it will proceed on Thursday this week, as usual. If we're going to officially change it, I guess we should do that soon?

Well you can still go. It'll cost you a little more in cab fare, but I'm sure it would be well worth it.

Hope to see you there, tee hee hee.

I am strongly pro moving to Wednesday nights. I am fine with meeting earlier and I am also pro keeping it at the Toad. If many people who would like to show up have early Thursday morning obligations, I will abandon my view, however.

Has Dimitrios been invited to the list?

I just added Dimitrios and also invited the rest of the profs. / instructors, etc. The only ones that didn't have their e-mails listed were Mark, Dave and Jack. So if you know where I can send an invite for them, let me know. Also, I'm sorry if anyone has received more then one invite. There are a lot of fancy hotmail / gmail listings on the club list that have no readily identifiable names attached to them, so there is no way to tell if two listings are for one person.

I can collect email addresses from my phil of art class. Also, I'd welcome anyone from the club who wanted give the speech.

I too welcome any phil club speech-giver. My theory of knowledge class is 10:30 MWF.

I would be happy to be a speech-giver, especially in conjunction with Adam. (He lacks the humourless and uneducated Mennonite demeanour.) Having an invitation from student reps makes phil club seem a little less intimidating to students (or at least it did for me). Is Wednesday the best day to go?

Whatever day works best for you. Let's plan for Wednesday at 10:30 then unless I hear otherwise. Thanks.
